About Us

Our parents Liz and Will Brady built and opened Floras Lake House in 1991. Their life at Floras Lake all came about because of a phone call from our dad Will’s friend in Oregon. Norm, whom dad had been windsurfing the Oregon coast with since his college days in the early 80’s, phoned to tell them about a great piece of property for sale on Floras Lake. “Hey,” he said, “you guys should buy this property, build an Inn,  and Will can open a windsurfing school on the lake.”

Well, it’s obvious they took his advice. They moved to Bandon in the summer of 1989 and opened the windsurfing school in 1990 and the Inn in July of 1991. We couldn't ask for a better place to grow up. We, along with our wives Kylie Zarmati and Makenzie Brady, and our summer innkeeper Hailey, look forward to continuing to share our incredible area with our guests.

If you get a chance to visit Floras Lake, you will see why we are here and why we have no plans to leave! We love the lake and are sure you will, too.

We hope to see you soon!

They are dressed casually, with the man in a beige t-shirt and jeans, and the woman in a dark sweater and pants. The man is wearing sunglasses, and the woman has sunglasses on her head.
