The rooms, all facing the lake and the ocean on the second floor, are situated on either side of our spacious living room. The South and Garden Rooms are adjacent to each other down one hallway, the Nautical and North Rooms are adjacent to each other down the other.
While all rooms enjoy a view, the North and South Rooms have superior views.
The South enjoys a view of the grounds along with the lake and ocean, while the North Room offers the best view of action on the lake and ocean. If you would like to relax outside on the deck, the South Room offers a bit more privacy, as the common deck wraps around the south end of the house.
All four rooms have private baths with showers. There are no TV's in the rooms or common room, but all rooms have Sony CD player/radios (that do get NPR!)
Internet Availability: We have wireless internet for those of you who have laptops with wireless capabilities*. There are also phone jacks available in all rooms ~local dial-up numbers are available in Port Orford for those with their own AOL, Netscape and other ISP accounts.
Stairs & Access: All rooms are on the second floor, but because the B&B sits against a hill the main access is up only about 3-4 steps. Inside, the North and Nautical are down a hallway with no steps and the South and Garden are down a hallway up three steps.
*Our wireless access is limited to email and normal internet browsing only. Downloading of movies, TV shows or large media files is not permitted due to our satellite download thresholds!*
